Making Memories for Valentine's Day

This past weekend was a whirlwind. Long weekends are always so nice, but also so hard to get back into the swing of things once the work week begins.

It was VERY difficult to get up this morning...

Ryan and I had a blast at the O.A.R concert in Atlantic City. It was nice to have a little getaway together. We haven't been on vacation since our wedding, so this weekend was much needed - even if we did just stay overnight about two hours from our apartment!

We celebrated Valentine's Day on Saturday. No gifts. No cards. Our 'gift' to each other was the concert and a nice dinner beforehand. I like the idea of planning 'experiences' rather than giving gifts. That way you make a fun memory together.

Countdown to the Weekend

This weekend Ryan and I are going to see O.A.R. in concert in Atlantic City. Though Atlantic City is far from being Las Vegas, I'm really excited for our little mini vacation. Life has been a bit hectic the past few weeks. (less blog posts... have you noticed?!) So this trip is coming at the perfect time.
We're going to go out to a nice dinner before the concert on Saturday and then drive back home Sunday afternoon. The best part - no work on Monday! wahooo! I just love three day weekends.

On a totally different topic - this year I started watching the Bachelor for the first time. I'm addicted. I'm very happy Olivia was left behind on that island ... she's crazzzyyy
